Dr. Jeff Malucci

Dr. Jeff MalucciDr. Jeff Malucci did his undergraduate studies at the University of Buffalo, specializing in exercise science and athletic training.  He accumulated countless hours of therapy and training with the university’s football, basketball, track, wrestling, soccer, and tennis teams. While this was an exciting career path, Dr. Malucci’s interest in the biomechanics and injury complex of the human body led him to the field of Chiropractic.

Dr. Malucci graduated from Life Chiropractic College in 2005 and continued his studies focusing on injury rehabilitation and prevention, sports chiropractic, extremity adjusting and human biomechanics.  While attending Life Chiropractic College, Dr. Malucci’s interest in the human body continued as he instructed human anatomy lab, aiding and performing human cadaver dissections.

After graduating, Dr. Malucci practiced at In-Balance Chiropractic with Dr. Alan Beckerman.  Dr. Malucci’s relationship with Dr. Beckerman proved to be invaluable as he learned to combine an in-depth knowledge of the musculoskeletal system with energetic and nutritional healing techniques; facilitating, initially, relief from pain and, ultimately, a genuine and lasting higher level of health and overall well being.  It was here Dr. Malucci learned the finer details of muscle testing structural and postural muscles to determine what imbalances, if any are present. These tests are biodynamic kinesiological muscle challenge and will reveal previously undiagnosed weakness and hypertonicity, both a cause of future breakdown.

In 2007, Dr. Malucci found Synergy Release Sports.  At Synergy he was introduced to Synergy Release Therapy as a technique to achieve the necessary balance between nerves, muscles, and bones that prevents overuse injuries, and aid in the resolution and rehabilitation of inevitable injuries that do occur in sports or in life.

In 2010, Dr. Malucci embarked on another journey. He developed a close bond with Don Myers and Brian Glotzbach of Body Mechanics. They joined forces and Dr. Malucci started Malucci Sports Therapy.

In 2012 Dr. Malucci studied with Dr Alan Phillips in New Zealand. Here, he learned a technique that uses the latest cellular research to address causes not symptoms. This technique identifies and corrects the patients complaint at the cellular level.

A Philosophy was born, one that he uses today. He formulated an approach that identify underlying biomechanical dysfunction that set the stage for musculoskeletal failures. These adverse structural issues cause stress and/or degeneration of specific tissues for weeks, months or even years before they finally lead to failure. The system addresses the biomechanical breakdown instead of treating the symptoms. By following this protocol, see to it that our patients recover faster, avoid reoccurrence and remain injury free.

In 2012, Dr. Malucci was honored with “Chiropractor Of The Year” by Jezebel magazine.

Dr Malucci’s experience has given him the amazing opportunity of traveling to numerous cities around the country to adjust numerous professional athletes and celebrities.

Dr. Matt Spaur

Originally from Parkersburg, West Virginia, Dr. Matthew Spaur attended West Virginia University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. After having worked as an Exercise Physiologist in several physical therapy, sports rehabilitation and fitness clinics, Dr. Spaur relocated to Georgia to pursue his true passion- chiropractic.

He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University with an emphasis on extremities in pursuit of being a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP).

Dr. Spaur’s passion for sports and biomechanics was evident at a young age as he played a variety of sports throughout his childhood including baseball, basketball, football and even raced motocross. After being treated by his local chiropractor for a football injury, Dr. Spaur quickly learned the significance of chiropractic in relation to sports performance and overall well-being. He firmly believes that routine adjustments not only prevent injury, but also improve performance and recovery outcomes.

In his spare time, Dr. Spaur’s  interests include anything outdoors from hiking with his wife, Lindsay and dog, Sadie, to mountain biking, fishing, camping, weight lifting, and most of all supporting his Alma Mater- Mountaineer football.
